I graduated in Illustration and Graphic Design at the MIT Institute of Design, Pune, India. After interning for famed Chumbak, I went on to designing at Inchwork, a design consultancy in Delhi. After working for a year there I switched to working in a London based motion graphic design studio, Breakfast of Champions by HPS group, (India Branch). I am going to complete two years now working on designing storyboards for different explainer films and animation.
I balanced my day job with personal creative work, like illustration, branding, and packaging, which garnered attention from different people around the world. Eventually, I got offers from more established companies, so I decided to design for graphic design on a freelance basis. This allowed me to work on other creative projects, from emerging brands to current trends.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find key points of the problem I am trying to solve and then address them in uniquely creative ways. I’d say that Design keeps me creative even outside of the Design sphere. There’s always something to experiment with and different things to try. The simplicity of the idea combined with the complexity of different styles is really fascinating to me. Creating engaging visuals is like planting a seed of yearning to turn the page and learn more about your idea. Ultimately, it’s about creating memorable images.
